This has surely been asked before, but

How can I increase the number of files in "My Recent Documents?"

Can one restrict the file times of "My Recent Documents?"

Are you getting an error message? If so, please post it. I am not aware of
a limit.

MaxRecentDocs specifies the number of shortcuts displayed on the Recent
Documents submenu.

Read about "MaxRecentDocs" in these sites:

apparently there's a limit of ten per a particular file type that can be displayed in the mru list.

this means that if you make modifications to show twenty five, you will still only see ten text documents. etc.
