Had similar on my brand new antec case... for some reason the power cable
didn't fit snugly into its proper receptacle on back of PSU... so i took a
strip of electrical tape to "widen" the business end of power cable and it
fits in snugly now....

Weird, I was just about to ask why my computer keeps turning on about 2
seconds after I shut it down.

It just started happening out of nowhere and is almost consistent
(sometimes computer power stays off after a few tries).

Power supply specs? Is the power supply "AMD Certified"?

One more thing Is the Asus mobo has a green light that's comes on when
electricity is going to it, and that's right after it shuts off. Also
I can't just reach down and turn the computer on, I have to unplug it
from the wall and wait for five seconds, and only then Will the
computer turn back on. AHH! this is ****ing me offffffffffff.
