my IE icons created in GP are greyed out

Running W2K, we use group policy to deploy MS Office 2K.
Shortcut icons for MS Office appear in home page using
IE6. One of my users has all of those shortcuts greyed
out. What went wrong? Shall I alter her profile? How do I
get the icons from being gray and inactive to being active
again? Thanks for your consideration!
