Using Access 2003. There is an access database that has worked
properly and has allowed muliple users. The application was placed on
a different server and now this situation is happening: If someone is
in the application it will not let another user in to the applciation
by double clicking on the application but it will let another user
into the application by opening up MS Access and then openning up the
database. Sounds like a permission thing to me but I'm not for
sure.

sounds to me like Jet isn't meeting your needs.

I'd reccomend moving to SQL Server, SQL Server won't give up on you,
it doesn't mind if you use VPN / Wireless, etc
