There is only one My Computer window at a time. Explorer uses /n switch to force a new window when a window already exists.
But this isn't standard but is typed.
explorer /n,c:\
for instance.

i tried that but now any folder that i open will open in a
new window, which gets kind of annoying when i'm looking
for a file 10 folders deep. before that wouldn't happen.
if i have one my cpu window open and click into another
folder, then i can click the my cpu shortcut again and i
get a new window. maybe that's the only way.
