Good morning,
Ive got a Gig-Lan-Adapter connected to a switch (no computers connected to
it, only mine) and a wireless USB-Adapter connected with a router which then
leads to the modem, ISP etc..
Well, the problem is, if Ive got both adapters activated the internet wont
work because the computer starts sending the requests to the Gig-Lan-Adapter
which isnt connected to any PC or Notebook. So its just sending the packets
nowhere....
If i connect both of the connections over a netwok-bridge it works fine.
I tried manipulating the routing tables under DOS but they get reset
everytime.

My question is how to set priorties to connections? So that the computer
knows which adapter will be used to use the internet.

thanks.

Hi JADM,

Use fixed IP's for your ISP and set the default gateway to your router. Or
DHCP from the router is fine.

Definately set a fixed IP for the LAN and no gateway.
