How sure are you it will work, and that this is in fact a sound
card problem? When I looked, my soundcard drivers are
fine, but I no longer have a volume control. I used to have
a master volume control that I could access from my toolbar
and it disappeared when XP was installed. So how is
reinstalling soundcard drivers going to fix that problem?
I mean, a soundcard driver is not the same thing as a
Multimedia Audio Controller driver, is it?
