Hi,

I just upgraded to MSN Messenger 7.5, and I cannot sign in anymore. I'm
running ZoneAlarm Pro, but have been for a long time and never had any
problems prior to the Messenger upgrade. When I troubleshoot it, it goes
through all the steps (IP... through Proxy Server...) until it gets to the
"Key Ports..." then cannot proceed any further. What might the problem be?
Are there any new ports that I need to now open in ZoneAlarm?

What's probably happening is ZoneAlarm is not recognizing Messenger now as it has been
upgraded and therefore is blocking it. You may need to completely remove any permissions
Messenger has in ZoneAlarm and then readd them.

Alternatively some people need to completely uninstall and then reinstall ZoneAlarm for it to
work again.
