msn 4.7 to 5.0 ~ lost View Profile ~ lost hotmail

upon upgrading to windows messenger 5.0 from 4.7 , i could
no longer View Profile of contacts, also the Go to Chat
rooms is gone, and it does not link to Hotmail.
Is says, 'You are not signed into SIP. click here.' but
when i try that i get. 'an https or tcp could not be made.
pls wait for network admin to correct, and try later.'

fixed it,,, intsalled 6.0 and it came back normal
