MSI Problem with HP officejet 6110

Hi:

Win2K

All of a sudden about a month ago whenever I put a CD-R in my drive,
the MSI comes up and says it is trying to install HP 6110.

Spome apps wich use printer will no longer function after this
message saying no printer.

I go to CP | Printers and set default to antoerh printer then set it
back to the 6110 and the app works again.

Everytime I put CD in, same routine.

Where in reg would be a flag indicating that install not finished or
some such other thing causing this??
