You are not going to believe this but it just happened to me.

I have been using the same XP disc on one PC for 5 years OK .

So today I added 1Gig of ram that’s all just 1Gig .

Re-booted and wait for it > MS notice> Due to significant changes to your hardware please reactivate your MS product Ummm is that a significant change me thinks not. Oh what pain in the arse they are. Phoned them and gave the number on screen> he gave me the new code. Talk about thick he gave me six sets of numbers I said I need seven sets of numbers to activate, I have given you seven, nope you ain`t, >he said I will give them to you again so yep you guessed it SIX sets again, after half an hour he then admitted he was wrong [surprise, surprise] its ok I said you are paying for the phone call with that another person interrupted and apologised for the mess up. It must have been his superior Thank heavens MS dont make anything that sucks because it wont work

Never be afraid to do your best work and let the

Never let someone tell you not to try something because it's stupid.

Turn off the recommended settings.

Break your computer and learn to fix it.
