Interesting stuff Mucks. I think it's a good idea. It may make the purists grimace, but as the author points out it's good for file sharing compatibility.

btw, where the smilies go?

Yup, I'm trying to work through the site status list, but its taking a while, the PHP code is a right pain! You may notice the things springing into action whilst viewing
