mpg movies used to play in ppt 2003 dont play in 2007

hi - just moved to 2007 & my movies wont play. could insert them OK in 2003
but doesn't work in 2007 only get white screen. i have tried insert a movie
click & insert an object under text. these movies will play OK in windows
media player

Sounds like the file path of the video is too long. Try putting the video
file and the PowerPoint file into the same folder, move that folder to the
root or C: then insert the video file. More info here:

i tried that - thats how i worked it in 2003 - in 2007 it just shows a while
screen while the time passes.
I'll read the pptools again - there have been a few things in 2007 that seem
hidden or dont work at all (:

converting to .avi can solve the problem

thanks - i have doen this after getting a rely from this site
NOW there are 2 menus added in Powterpoint to PFCPro & the movie plys IN
PFCPro OK BUT when I click to add it to PowerPOINT PowerPOINT freezes &
nothing happans
