Has anyone had luck moving files. My hard drive is nearly
full and I want to add a second ( or a new pc) will I have
to rebuild my media library or is there a way to relocate
the whole thing a still have media player find everything.

Hello,

What I would do is buy another hard drive (Maybe 20-30
GB, depending on the size of your libary), add it as a
slave drive and move the music files onto it. I would
then delete all the files from the WMP, then make it scan
the new drive. You can get a 20 GB hard drive pretty
cheap these days, and I mean the good brands too.

20GB? Do they even make those anymore? You can often find great deals on 80GB
drives. Ty's advice is dead-on, though.

Hello,

They still make 20 and 30 GB drives. Check on
www.newegg.com and www.zipzoomfly.com. I told the
persont that because I don't know how much money he/she
is willing to spend on a new hard drive, and 20 and 30 GB
drives run under $50 bucks.

WMP should be able to resolve the links if the drives are NTFS. If it
doesn't work, you can just reset the library (info at the first link below).
