MPEG2 files need DVD decoding software such as PowerDVD
(
www.gocyberlink.com) or WinDVD (
www.intervideo.com). AVI files are usually
compressed and need the appropriate codec installed... usually DIVX
(
www.divx.com) or XVID (
www.xvidmovies.org).
