Movie maker not working

Ok I need help with windows movie maker, i think i deleted the first one by accident and then i installed windows movie maker 2 and everytime i open it and import a file into my collections it just comes up saying dont send errory or send error report, what do i do?

I'd start by reading either of these
www.papajohn.org problem solving>acceleration and codecs
or
www.the-kellys.org and look for codec renaming tool
