move group

I have made 10 group each of say 10 to 15 rows. I have now group name as
A,B,C,D....etc. Now i want to move whole one of group means i want D group
first before A. It is not moving. If cut and than insert , it moves only last
line of group.
Is there any tricks to move group ? I need to expand whole group and
than select all rows than need to cut and than insert .........is there any
idea to move group or rearrange group ?
