My boss has asked me to find out how to move his BCM contacts from his laptop
to the server so that the other 3 employees in the office can access the same
info at all times.

He wants to make sure that if he or another office employee updates their
info, everyone else will be able to see the updated info as well.

Can someone please help me figure out the following:
1. How to move my boss's BCM info to the server.
2. How I go about making sure all office employees can access this common
BCM info.
3. How I make sure that when one person updates the info, everyone else can
see those updates as well.

Please help!

Thank you.

Rebecca

Rebecca:

BCM can do that but you may need to find some help.

Take the database from your boss's PC and move it to the server. That will
become the "master database".

Have the other employees logon to that database from their PC's. They can
either logon directly or configure an offline database that will synch when
they leave the office with a laptop.

Have the boss logon to that master db also. Now, all your people are
"children" of the master.

Any changes made will show up on the others' PC's.

Answers to all the "how to's" are in other messages in this newsgroup.

HTH,
Lon
