Mouse Cursor in XP Embedded

's Computer Specifications

The Mouse Cursor is invisible until a mouse is connected is to USB port. Is
it a default behaviour in XP embedded OS?

I want the mouse cursor to appear always even when the mouse is not
connected. How to achieve this?

I'm new to XP embedded. When I loaded XP embedded in my notebook, the mouse
cursor was there even when mouse is not connected. But, in another board the
mouse cursor was not visible when the mouse is not connected.

If it's a notebook it probably has a touchpad. That will show up as a
mouse.
