Do you mean that a monitor entry is listed twice as follows:

Default monitor
Default monitor


Most video card these days provide two connectors to allow you to use
two monitors. XP Device Manager likes to have a setting for each
"device" it detects and since it seems that in yours, it detects the
two video "out" port.
