Hi

i need some help

I have a NEC MultiSync FP912sb 19 inch monitor on a Window XP, My graphics
card is a Gf4 Ti 4200. After I have tweaked all the settings for the monitor
to make sure it fits my screen resolution correctly 1280 x 1024 @ 85hertz ,
everything looks fine, the task bar is level with the bottom of my monitor.
When i cold boot or close the monitor for 45min+ the screen has expanded
verticaly just enough to see half of the toolbar only and after 10-15min of
warming up the toolbar come back at level. I don't know why its doing this.
Can anyone offer a solution

if anyone have this monitor can you try my setting? i want to make sure
before i send it back ( shipping$$).

TIA

Most monitors aren't designed to use 100% of the screen reliably, or
without some distortion of the edge. Back your vertical size off a
bit and that will allow for the expanding and contracting.

My comment wasn't aimed at explaining why your monitor behaved as it
does. It was a generalized statement. I have several CRT monitors
and none of them behave identically, even though I have a matched pair
of one model. They all respond differently to different display
modes.
