I've just created a mirrored volume through Windows Disk Management in 2000
Server (SP3). Is there an alert setting i can use that will monitor the
mirror? I want to be notified if one of the disks fails and/or if something
goes wrong with the mirror.

Hi Jim,

There does not have such option to monitor the mirror.

If the mirror is wrong, you can find the error log in the Event Log. Also,
the mirror volume set health should not be good. This can be found in the
Disk Management.

When you found the error, you can search the Microsoft Knowledge Base for
the solution or create post in the newsgroup related queue. We will help
you to solve the problem.

Thanks for using Microsoft News Group!

Sincerely,
