Hello I have added a 40 gig hard drive to my pc. This hard drive had windows
98 and I uploaded windows 2000 the prob is my monitor boots up with 16 bit
color which is the only option. I go and reinstall drivers and choose live
update which gives me a radon driver for my dell monitor when it installs and
reboots the monitor will not go on it will stay in a black screen with the
white curser blibking at the upper left.???

Could you elaborate. What do you mean, you "uploaded" Windows 2000? Do
you mean you "upgraded" Windows 98 to Windows 2000, with a Windows 2000
cd? And where are you getting "live update" drivers for Radeon drivers?
An answer to these questions (especially the first) is essential in
order to provide accurate assistance. With the information you provided
my guess is that you installed or (tried to install) windows 2000
drivers on a Windows98 system or vice versa.
