When I make changes on my FrontPage webs locally then upload to the server,
most of the themes buttons and banners don't show any text. I must login
live and open every last page and save it live to make the text appear, and
there's dozens of pages. I've re-installed the FP server extensions (several
times), used the FP Admin panel to detect/fix errors and recalculate the web
but it doesn't help. The only way to make text appear is to login to every
page and save it live to the server. This has been happening for quite a
while, and some of my sites have a LOT of pages. The only other way I can
fix it is to make the buttons/banners "text only" without the graphics, but
this isn't a satisfactory solution to my boss.



This is getting really frustrating, and the only thing I can determine that
may be causing it is that the FP extensions installed on the server are
reporting back as "2002", and I'm using FP2003. Could this be the problem or
is it something else? Any ideas please?

There are no FP 2003 SE (FP 2003 uses the FP 2002 SE)

If you are using custom themes for your nav the nav must be created live on the server running the FP 2002 SE (not in a local disc
based web)
