Missing "Remove previous installs of this product for users, if the product was not installed by Group Policy-based Software Installation" check box

Any idea why this checkbox would be missing? It's not grayed out, it simply isn't there. Refer to Technet article "HOW TO: Bring an Unmanaged Installation of Office XP into a Managed State (307803)" as to the reason why I want to use it

I've seen a few posts about this previously, but there was no answer. I've tried creating a new policy from both a Windows 2000 computer and a Windows XP computer, but to no avail.

Never mind. The answer is in Technet article "A Previous Installation of a Program is Automatically Removed When You Use Group Policy-based Software Installation (821870)"
