When I boot my computer, after windows XP loads, I get a
message unable to load image.dll. evidently I am missing
this driver.

The computer is a Dell Demension 2300, that came with XP.

Where can I go to down load this missing driver?

Scroll down until you see the posting by Option^Explicit and he includes a
link to a file that will remove the problem.

It's just spyware you've somehow gotten infected with.
