Just double-click on the Microsoft Office Button to close a document if more
than one document is open; when only one document is open, this action will
close the document and Word.
You can also add a Close All button to the Quick Access toolbar (Office
Button, Word Options, Customize, Commands not in Ribbon in Choose Commands
from drop-down list, select Close All, click Add and OK)
