I am trying to back up my contacts. According to the help file, it SHOULD be
under File, Options, advanced and in there should be a export. Mine is not
there. Does anyone have any ideas why this is?

You must have a beta version - Export was missing from the beta.

I'm using the Beta version of 2010. Is there a way to tell when my time
is "up"?

And, while I'm at it ---

I setup a user account with ISP, and I tried using Outlook 2010 as a
client. The wizard says that email is freely flowing, but my inbox has
no messages. Checking my ISP's web-mail application, all messages from
various clients working well.

I need to do some more work. I'm also going to research the LG ENV3 from
Verizon Outlook "sync" to see if I can get that going too....

Cheers

Beta is good for 180 days or Oct 31 2010.

Go to Folder list view - Ctrl+6 will get you there- can you see where the
mail is going?

I can see where it's getting, not where it's going.

No, I can't see the "sent items" either. Or, at least, I don't see the
messages that I've sent successfully via Outlook 2010.

What type of email account? Go to File, Account settings - double click on
the account. Where is delivery set for (bottom of dialog). Click More
settings - is there a Set items tab? If so where are sent items set to go?
(IMAP accounts only)

The ISP is Comcast, according to
http://customer.comcast.com/Pages/FA...p-Outlook-2003
I want to setup a POP3 client, which I have.

So, IMAP it's not.
