I cannot get the +/- Volume controls to work on a new keyboard.

I have no problem with an older Natural Keyboard Pro unit.

I sent back my first Ergonomic keyboard thinking it was faulty.

Surely I cannot have received two boards with the same fault?

Please advise

Did you install the software that comes with the keyboard? You need special
software for those "multimedia" type keyboards.

I already had IntelliType Pro 5.5 installed. Thank you for your interest.

go in the control panel keyboard applet, go to the 'key
settings' tab & make sure the 'volume +/-/mute' key is
checked.

Sorry, it is possible only to reassign the key and not to activate or
deactivate it.
