you can give in your day and time that he must update the

A patch will be applied to bypass the expiration before July 31st. I suspect
it will be downloaded through auto update.

How about a make-up feature in the scheduler like the one
in the Symantec AV Corporate Edition? For example: I have
my install configured to do a scan every day at 5:00 PM,
yet I have not been getting home until after 6:30 PM
nightly and now I have a message telling me I have not ran
a scan in a week and need to pay attention to the matter
ASAP. An option to perform a scan within plus or minus so
many hours of the scheduled time would take care of this
matter most of the time.

The replies are there for those who care to read them.

One difficulty with the web interface to these groups is that mozilla-based
browsers apparently cannot click the PLUS sign in front of the messages to
expand the threads and thus see the replies.

You can get around this by using the expand all link at the top, which does
work.

Of course, if you are in this category, you aren't reading this reply---so I
urge anyone reading this to tell all their friends!
