hell

I have created a form for timecards and on one of the entry fields---hours worked---I would like it to flash or blink a few times .or provide some message to the timecard entry person when the entry = less than eight hours. Something that would get their attention.I am new to access but i do want to impress and experiment of what i can do with access.Currently experimenting with macros but am willing to try a little programming to get the results and make my form a little bit of an eye catcher.Any suggestions for this simple timecard form that shows hours worked, hours not worked and date.........????
Much thanks in advance for this geat support site.

Joe,

Here is one idea that might meet your requirements... If you are using
Access 2000 or later version, you could use Conditional Formatting to
change the display colour of the hours worked textbox, depending on the
number. In design view of the form, select the textbox, and then go to
Conditional Formatting on the Format menu, and see how you go.
