Hi,
I am new here, and am about ready to throw my home computer out the window! Whenever I log into my computer and bring up IE and go to maxmize it, the whole top bar shifts to the left. I don't know what to do and it is driving me crazy!! I have a Compaq Presario MV700 - Windows98. Any suggestions surely would help. Thank you.

have you tried searching for spyware and adaware?

I'm out of bed and dressed, what more do you want?

I always take life with a grain of salt, ... a slice of lemon, ...and a shot of tequila

I used to have an open mind but my brains kept falling out

One more step to enlightenment ... but which way ?

Sorry Spirit, this 'Old Sod' has a very nasty habit, I don't touch Comcrap PCs, they have a mind and sole of the devil and that includes the company as well.

Solution? Your first suggestion would be mine also ... throw it out the Window.

However, it would help if you could answer my first question ... what screen size (14/15/17/19 inch?) are you using and at what resolution? (400x600/800x600/1024x768) May not help, you never know.

Also along side Comcrap are Crapard Bell HewletCrapard ... basically, any propriety made system are, can be, crap defiantly any system bought from PCWorld will be overpriced, underpowered with not much room for upgradeability.
