Media player 9 cannot play streaming video

's Computer Specifications

I run player 9 with windows 2000 pro with latest update.
Recently, I cannot playback any online streaming video and
always got the error message "0xC00D11BB", sometimes was ")
xC00D1197". There's no problem with downloaded files or CD.
I use cable modem.
Any help is appreciated.
