I'm thinking of buying a media center (see details below but in French:
sorry)

As it doesn't seem to have a DVD reader (most of them don't), I'd like to
know how they can play a DVD or CD

Or do I have to convert the video to .vob to stock it and play it?

If this is so, what happens if the video is protected.

Any pointers welcome
