McAfee - leftover 1K files becoming tiresome

My McAfee does a good job of intercepting the bogus "Microsoft Secuity
Patch" Swen virus files- but I'm left in my attachments folder with a slew
of 1K cleaned files and a McAfee text file.

Under my Eudora 6 the messages end up in a Junk folder where they can be
mass deleted -and the files deleted when the Junk folder is trashed.
Otherwise it's dedious to go through the attachments folder and kill them
piecemeal.

It takes a couple of steps however and I'm glad to see them intercepted but
I'd as soon have it so that once McAfee had ID'd then as bad actors they'd
be dispatched in one step.

Any config settings I can do to simplify thekilling off of these remant 1K
files?

Email "rules" can be used to autodelete the remnants.

I don't see within either McAfee setup or Eudora 6.0 Options -> Tools ->
"Junk Mail" or "Junk Mail Extra" any provision for unattended deletion of
the 1K remnant files. Seems a natural feature but I didn't find a way to do
it.

I can TRASH them and they're deleted when trash is emptied (via Eudora) but
that's a 2 step process that leaves them around for a while. Am I missing a
"rules" section somewhere?

Dick:

I don't use Eudora so I could not tell you. I use Pegasus mail which does have the
capability.
