Hello all,

I have a user who's personal laptop has XP Home installed. I am trying
to map a shared domain printer, but the credentials used to map the
printer are lost upon reboot.

Is there any way to map this printer persistently with domain credentials?

Thanks in advance.

Have him upgrade to XP Pro; XP Home cannot do this, XP Pro can.

No, but you can run a start up batch file to connect.

See the Tech Tips and Downloads page at
http:// [Remove this and spaces] www. gtscomputerservice. com

I have a sample batch file there called "EasyMap" that might help.
