I recently installed Mandrake 10.1 on my spare PC and although everything works OK if refuses to shut down. If I use the verbose shut down page it gets as far as 'halting systems' about three lines from power down but then it just hangs. Someone said the check the acpi box in bootloader but this made no difference, any ideas please?
