Were new to BCM and in the process of setting up....before we go too far we
would like to know how other people set the system up to cater for tasks &
calender.

What i mean is that we want to set opportunties/calls up for an individual
(there are 4 of us using the shared database) whose Outlook calender or tasks
get populated with each days calls. All he has to do is look in either (it
doesnt matter which) of calender or tasks and there listed are the
contacts/accounts he should call that day

Is this possible?

Many thanks

Martin,
If you have the time, start with this 50 minute course on Office Online.
http://office.microsoft.com/training...RC010897461033
After completing this course you will be able to:

a.. Find your Business Contact Manager data in Outlook (and understand
where that data is stored).
b.. Easily capture and retrieve the complete history of your business
transactions and related files by looking up a business contact or account
in Business Contact Manager.
c.. See the relationships between Accounts and Business Contacts (and know
how to distinguish the two).
d.. Import or add contact and account information to Business Contact
Manager.
After this is if you still have question please let us know.

Any luck Martin? How far did you get?
In our environment we have 1 server running BCM 2 pc's running BCM and they
were a pain in the ass to get loaded. One appears to run and then drops out.
Another keeps sending error reports.
I'm starting to look at 3rd party apps. This is far from being a clean
outlook add-on.

Martin,

It appears from reading your post that you are requesting some basic Outlook
usage tips with respect to applying them to sales methodology best practices.
Is my read of your comments correct or are you having some tecnical trouble
getting the program to work right with the sharing of your data among the 4
users?
