Making 1 highlight dvd from several dvd's

's Computer Specifications

I have several dvd's of my son's basketball games and would like to take some
parts off of each one to make 1 highlight dvd. Can this be done with movie
maker or other device? I have a sony vaio laptop with dvd player and a
separate sony dvd burner. Thanks
