Linux is lacking in freeware? The fat's in the fire now. . .
FYI - there's very little discussion of Mac apps in ACF. There might be
more info elsewhere. The Stuffit question did come up last year:

Thanks. I discovered that you can ftp direct to ftp.aladdinsys.com and
versions 2, 5, 5.1, 5.11 and 6 of expander only are still available in
/pub/_old/pc/StuffIt_Expander/
