Nope, it’s not that good a deal. Its old technology.
The least I would look at would be a
KT7Pro2 and that’s now old.
My entry model would be the
K7T Pro2 as it will take today’s CPU's
... and this board will keep up with the times
KT4 Ultra as it is SATA ready.
Get the right "foundation" now and it will save you money in the future. Also ensure you get a 450watt PSU, today a 300 may not deliver enough power.
… aint I free at spending your money.
Don't forget there are other MB manufactures out there that are just as good as MSI, however, it is my personal opinion that you cant go too wrong with an MSI Motherboard.
