I just ran through this rigamarole:

and only recovered about 30 missing files out of a couple hundred. It
didn't come up with a "Lost and Found" folder when I restarted Outlook, but
there were those 30 in my "deleted items" folder under the recovered pst.
I used "frhed" (google it, there's an improved download link at the bottom
of the page it finds) to modify the pst flie.
