Dear all,

When I'm trying to access my database server (win2k SP4 + sql 2k sp3a) an
error occur like this :

Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at
this computer.

Last week I can access my database server, but this week I can't

Is anyone know how to solve my problem ?

TIA

Best Regards,

Robby Gunawan S

Generally that means you do not have the user right for "access this computer
from the network" for that computer. Check that user right in the Local Security
Policy of the database server for "effective" settings. The everyone or users
group may need to be added either at local or domain/Organizational Unit level.
Also check any entries in deny access to this computer from the network that
would override the settings for allow. --- Steve

Same applies to Enterprise Administator. I would also check that your account is
still in the Enterprise Administrators Group and that the Enterprises Group is
still in the administrators group for that domain. Somewhere along the line,
something has changed. --- Steve
