Greetings - In running Windows XP Pro and do not have the
option of simply logging off on my machine. I have
attempted to activate this function, via the Customize
Classic Start Menu, but the Display Logoff option is not
listed.

Thoughts appreciated. Bill

This site will tell how to get rid of it.
http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/winxp/1079246361. Possibly you or
someone else has done this? If the registry DWORD is there then change the
value to '0'.
