login at startup

When I insatlled my OS, I did so as "Administrator".
Later, I created an account for myself, but missed the
opportunity to have the computer "assume that I would be
the person using the computer at startup". Now, whenever
I do a startup, I get an error message which I must click
to bypass, then enter my password.

Is there a way to retro-actively set up my system to
recognize and remember me and my password as the "expected
user"?

Thank you Daniel!

I was sure that the knowledge base had the information I
needed, but I didn't know how to properly phrase my search
request.

I appreciate that more experienced computer users, such as
yourself, take the time to share information with Newbies
like me.

Sincerely,
