Right click on the clock box.

Under TClockEx Properties/Advanced, there is a box to tick off and to load
automatically. Works fine for me.

When I right click the clock box I see "TClock Properties" and under it is
"TClock Help", "About TClock", etc. I'm having trouble finding what you
mentioned. I can't find it in the TClock properties menu either. Could you
elaborate a little more? Thanks.

Right Click: TClockEx Properties : Advanced : Tick at bottom left
'Load Automatically when Windows Starts' : OK

I don't have this "TClockEX Properties" that you guys are talking about
(this is my 1st time using this prog and I downloaded the most recent
version from the homepage). I only have "TClock Properties" and there's no
Advanced tab or button anywhere in there.

There are two similar programs from different authors: Tclock AND
TclockEX.
However there is a 'new' version of Tclock called Tclock Light which is
written for XP.

I tried all three before I realized that with XP, holding the mouse over
the time, shows the date in a little box, and dragging the toolbar until
it is twice as wide gives the date all the time.

For TClock: Right click time in tray (context menu); TClock Properties;
Misc. tab; Press button to create a shortcut in startup folder that is
located in Start Menu\Programs\Startup. Note, you can put this shortcut in
either All Users subfolder (all users will use Tclock for all users) or
your-user-name subfolder).

You may want to investigate TClockEx (voted pricelessware 2004), TClock2
(should have been pricelessware), and TClock Light as well as TClock. Each
has advantages and all are good. The following links provide brief
