Links in PowerPoint to a Lotus Notes Database

How do I create a link in a PowerPoint slide that will open a Lotus Notes
database or go into that database and present the user (assuming they are
authorized for that database) with a document. I imagine it is much like
linking to a web page but with different parameters. Thanks.
