link to 'my documents' ?

hi all,

When I open explorer and look in the 'Folder' window (left side of the
explorer window) I don't see a direct link to My documents. In most
programs (the fie browsing parts op the programs) the link has also
disappeared.

Someone knows what caused this? Something tampered with the registry or
something?
