I posted this earlier, but have not had a response so I am re-posting
separately:

I am not networked other than through Internet connection. I am the Computer
Administrator and I have not installed any kind of network to my computer. My
computer is the only one connected to the Internet.

If your other earlier post was identical to this one, the reason you
probably got no answers is that there isn't enough information here to get
an accurate diagnosis.

1. What were the original problems on the computer?
2. What troubleshooting did you already do?
3. What did Norton tech support do?
4. What is the exact text of the error message? Please don't paraphrase the
way you did.
5. What does "cannot access..." mean? You mean you can't log on or can't get
to the profile's files using Windows Explorer?
6. Does the same thing happen in Safe Mode? Are other accounts OK?

The First Question Of Troubleshooting: If the problem is new, what changed
between the time things worked and the time they didn't?

The Second Question of Windows Troubleshooting: what is the malware/virus
status of the machine? If you think it is clean, what programs (and
versions) did you use to determine this?

If you can't do the work yourself (and there is no shame in admitting this
isn't your cup of tea), take the machine to a professional computer repair
shop (not your local equivalent of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad). If possible,
have all your data backed up before you take the machine into a shop.

I would suggest uninstalling all Norton products and getting Eset, Avira or
AVG antivirus. The free offerings from the latter two are better then the
paid Norton.

Other than that, the problem may be because the limited user is not the
owner of the profile folder (under Documents and Settings\ownername) Check
the security options. (on Home this has to be done in safe mode)
