Hello fellas:

I got a situation very weird here, the backup software standard of the
enterprise is the Legato Networker, but suddenly in a server iT stops to
respond, and after several patching the server (windows 2000 all patch
installed),
still with the same problem....

To ilustrate the problem i'll explain like this.....

Legato Networker Backup Software is a software the "push" the data to the
backup server, and the first comunication between servers is via RPC, if RPC
fails no back up is made.

The weird of this is that between windows are updated, and their
comunication is too good, any port, if I use the telnet tool to se if the
port is open (RPC) it connects without problem, also the dozen of ports used
by Legato Networker, but the problem persist.....

The Back up server is a Windows NT 4.0 (all patch installed, planned to
update to 2000)

The problematic server is a Windows 2000 (all patch installed)

Any ideas are welcome
